AOC Just Couldn't Wait...

or hypocrisy (by attending an event with rich people..... somehow you are betraying the poor?)

These are inane statements devoid of logic or reasoning, and stoop to the level of smears.

While y'all are whining like children distracted by a shiny bauble, about AOC wearing a dress, "moderate" Dems and Republicans in congress are literally selling your children's future to billionaires.

Try as a person might, by insulting those who see that the EMPEROR HAS NO CLOTHES, or in this case wears designer clothes...or trying to focus  the conversation elsewhere... the truth of AOC  has been revealed.  And no-one's falling for insults or bait and switch tactics.

I don't understand the criticism. First it was - she's an unqualified bartender. Then it was - she's a fake because she graduated college and was taped dancing with her fellow students. Then it was - how could she afford a business suit to wear on the House floor, or to rent a place in DC. Now she's a traitor because she attended the Met Gala?

Who cares. I would have gone in a second to that Gala. And the very fact that Ana Wintour invited her speaks to her relevance, exposure and standing - all good things if we want anything done in the community. Stop beating on a young woman just because she dresses nice. It's silly.

It's not that. The cost of the Met Ball for her and her outfit can be up to $100K. Or more.

Meanwhile, I still see lines for food distribution in Jackson Heights.

And AOC's platform is for the under-privileged. Not the over-privileged.

The juxtaposition is astounding. And comes across as dissonant.

It's having your cake and eating it too. Or perhaps reminiscent of, "Let them eat cake!"

If it makes you happy, she's been all over Queens and NYC the past week giving out food and doing flood photo ops and helping out. Just check her Instagram. But of course, all of that stuff doesn't really make headlines and the MET gala does... so...

Let's cut the pretense and be honest. Even her followers know this looks bad.
And that's why Damage Control mode is ramped to the max.
