"Weeki Wachee Girls" Staged Reading - Thursday, May 15

Siren's Tale Productions (http://www.sirenstalefilms.com) presents a staged reading of a new feature script, “Weeki Wachee Girls” from award-winning Writer/Director and Jackson Heights resident Kim Cummings based on her short film of the same name.
 
When: Thursday, May 15 at 7:00 p.m.
Where: Garden School, 33-16 79th Street, Jackson Heights, Queens
Admission is free
 
What’s it about?
15-year-old best friends Katie and Maura dream of becoming mermaids at Florida’s Weeki Wachee Spring.  Everything goes awry when Katie discovers Maura kissing another girl.

Cinemarosa, Queens only Queer Film Series will be playing "Weeki Wachee Girls" as part of their 4th Anniversary Celebration.
 
Come see this award-winning short film on the big screen as part of a terrific line-up of short films.
Q&A to follow with directors.
