In the Spring and Fall, The Jackson Heights Art Club holds its Outdoor Art Show called "on the fence" off PS69 located on 37th Avenue between 77th and 78th Streets in Jackson Heights.  For two weekends each season from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM, members and nonmembers are invited to exhibit their works for a small fee.  The exhibit features both framed and unframed paintings in oil, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, mixed media and photography.  The event is open to the public free of charge.

2. ARTIST DEMONSTRATIONS

About 4 times a year, the Jackson Heights Art Club presents a demonstration by a guest artist at the Club Gallery located at 33-50 82nd Street, Jackson Heights.  The demonstration is open to the public free of charge.

Does anyone know if the Jackson Heights Art Club is still around ? Maybe I just haven't seen the fliers etc. but I also haven't seen any signage where they used to be located.
