Jeff, if you get a large group, you'd have a hard time sitting together at Jackson House.  The place is very narrow and only offers 4 seater booths and counter seating.  Well, you could get side by side booths.

Two votes for Fiesta or Haewoondae- and either date works.

all sound good! Any one of them would be interesting. Korean bbq sounds great, but I am also curious about the new place on the corner by the subway. So, I will defer to the crowd.

I tried the chicken dumplings from Elm Cafe, very yummy!

Sunday, May 17th at 6:15pm.

Looks like Korean BBQ or Fiesta Mexicana.

Too bad you're away, we will pour a glass of soju or sangria for you. Happy cinco de mayo everyone.

Went into Fiesta Mexicana to see if it was BYOB. Nope. BUT I talked with the owner and was very impressed with their integrity as a restaurant. They don't sell fajitas or burritos, but do sell some of their favorite dishes from all over mexico. They prepare things based on what is fresh for the day, and they said they will prepare something special for our group. He asked for a request, but I told him whatever he wants to cook and we eat everything. So, we will see what happens... Looks good though, I'm looking forward to it.

I can't wait for a report of Fiesta Mexicana. I've wanted to try this place since I saw them making fresh guacamole at the table through the window! I'm glad I don't have to go out of town to enjoy this treat anymore.
