They probably put people back in the system after 4 so that by 6 they are have used up their chances to postpone? Just kidding, I don't know. But on a serious note, I have a name many find hard to spell. I have gotten notices with Z in my name, without the z, with a y for the i, etc. Check to see if the recent questionaire has your names pelt differently than the one you justs erved on, that may be the reason for the quick turnaround ...
Also I would return both forms, xeroxed, and even make a call to get one name version wiped out of the computer, if I were you.
Hi Shelby, I served at the court house in LIC and it was quite well run and enjoyable. The historic building is beautiful and the court bailiff gave us a private tour when all was done. It was a civil court issue, so wasn't an exciting case persay. A fall on ice. Previously I served in Brooklyn criminal court on a pedophelia case that was so high profile it became the subject of a CSI episode. That case was truly gripping. I love jury duty. It's not just that I feel it's my duty to serve, but also it's just interesting to see our legal system at work. They make it very easy these days with phone in the night before and free wifi at the courthouse.
