While the election was historic nationally and statewide, there was no suspense here in Jackson Heights.  As expected, Hiram Monserrate was elected to the State Senate and Michael Den Dekker and Jose Peralta were elected to the State Assembly.  Crowley and Ackerman were both easily re-elected to Congress.  Congratulations to all!
