For those who have attended the fantastic local concerts of the Jackson Heights Orchestra, you are already familiar with its founder and leader, Pat Glunt. She is extraordinary and wears many hats in this operation including being the conductor, the impresario and host, along with commissioning a number of composers work, both local and international. If you don't know her yet, give a listen to this podcast* and you will get to know this charming personality and be under her spell like the rest of us. Learn the backstory to how and why we are able to have this kind of a quality operation here in our little neighborhood and what it takes to keep all parts working. Pat Glunt and the JHO is this lastest installment of JHBG's podcast series.
