Special Election: Queens Borough President - Tuesday March 24

This is a good article that explains who's running. The stand-alone election on a random weekday sounds like a recipe for depressingly low voter turnout:

I'm supporting Elizabeth Crowley. She's focused on transit which is essential in moving Queens forward.

Not very enthusiastic about the County Committee's endorsement process for Richards. I wouldn't want to endorse that, even I thought Richards was a fine representative.

I don't mind Costa either. I used to live in his district.
