Thai Cook in Elmhurst -- NYT Critic's Pick

Thai Cook
81-17 Broadway, Elmhurst

Pete Wells gives a pretty rave review to this tiny new Thai restaurant in Elmhurst, called Thai Cook (it shares a space with the Chinese hot pot restaurant iCook).

It does not seem to be on Yelp yet, though Eat the World beat the NYT to the scene by about three months.

Has anyone been? We have no shortage of good Thai food nearby, but this place looks great.

Thanks for the heads up. Sounds delicious and unusual. I also liked the headline

Tried it today. For me, it was as good as any other thai place in the neighborhood. The dishes are  almost all under ten dollars, so you can really try a variety of offerings.
