« on: December 17, 2019, 08:04:51 PM »
Has anyone seen real high quality peppermint ice cream? We had some at relatives awhile ago in
Massachusetts and wanted to find some here if possible.

I remember Friendly's peppermint ice cream as a child. According to their website there are 2 stores on long island.

Friendly's Franklin Square
552 Franklin Avenue
Franklin Square, NY 11010
516-775-6722

8AM - 11:30PM

Friendly's Mineola
230 Jericho Turnpike
Mineola, NY 11501
516-294-0393

8AM - 11:30PM

A local supermarket may be able to order it.

Ample Hills, which has a location on 30th Avenue in Astoria, has a couple of different peppermint options. All the flavors i've had are really pretty great.

Foodtown has got the Haagen-Dazs Peppermint Bark holiday offering.  I think it is pretty darn good.  And.......3 for $10 this week.  :D

The craving may have passed, but Lemon Farm still has the Van Leeuwen special seasonal Peppermint Stick ice cream!
