gracias!  Now we need a Parade calendar so our cars don't get middle of the night free rides to the outer limits!

I just figured out that you can import the street cleaning calendar into your gmail or outlook calendar in about 2 seconds.
The instructions are on the nyc.gov site
http://www.nyc.gov/html/dot/html/motorist/disclaimer.shtml

Just make sure to click on the 2010 calendar when you download the csv file.

It is hard for me to believe that alternate side parking is in effect tomorrow (Wednesday).  I think the city will generate a  a lot of revenue from those who assumed they wouldn't have to move their car.  I told 4 people tonight and no one could believe that they had to move their car tomorrow.

What time would they have cancelled it by, if they were to cancel?  Guess it is too late at 11:15pm to cancel for the next day?

I first heard it on WINS radio that alternate side of the street parking would be in effect about 5PM.
