JH Cyclists speak out on the issues, a JHBG podcast in 2 parts
« on: October 03, 2019, 12:26:30 PM »
Jackson Heights Beautification Group is presenting another in its series of local podcasts, this time on cycling here in the neighborhood. Locals Christine Furlong and Laura Newman, both avid cyclists and parents, are prominent activists for safety here in Jackson Heights and across the city.

Find out more about the pleasures and terrors about this ever growing method of transportation here in NYC. Learn realistic rules of the road and some surprising laws that we need to uphold. These passionate ladies have a lot to say and are truly building a cyclist community here in
Jackson Heights. Did you know MTA bus drivers can be your cycling friends? Oh, and find out about events like the Santa Ride which is one of a number of sponsored events in the local biking community.
