recommendatons for a physical therapist?
« on: August 13, 2019, 01:32:13 PM »
I recently fractured the 5th metatarsal bone on my foot now looking for a physical therapist.  NY Presbyterian Orthopedics on Northern Blvd doesn't have any appointments until October.
Has anyone been treated elsewhere?
thanks

I was treated for sciatica last year by Regie Tiu, PT, and would highly recommend him and his staff.
His office is at 33-10 Queens Blvd., just a few steps from the 33rd/Rawson Street Station on the #7 line.

I can recommend Recovery PT. They have multiple offices including some in Astoria. I've gone to the one on 7th Ave and 40th Street and they have been pretty good.

Several years ago I went to Ergo Physical Therapy in Forest Hills. It's right by the subway stop, so very convenient. And they were so nice, patient, and caring and helped me tremendously with back pain I was having at the time. The place is also clean, which is reassuring in any health care situation! Good luck to you.
