Grrrrr, construction plates
« on: June 04, 2019, 08:42:01 AM »
Whatever roadwork crew Con Ed hired to do work on 34th Ave between 86th and 87th left the construction plates halfway out in the roadway, for the last two days every time a car goes over it, it sounds like a truck dropping a load of iron pipes.

Try this approach?

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/04/nyregion/nyc-loud-noisy.html

Key quote:

Since then, Mr. Edison has created a form letter he uses to threaten to sue companies over noise. Starbucks and Walgreens Boots Alliance, which operates the nearby Duane Reade, and the trucking services they use were sent letters over noisy deliveries. So was Con Edison after metal plates on the street came loose during repair work and clanked whenever cars drove over them.
