Can anyone recommend a restaurant that would a good place to hold a comedy or storytelling show on an off night?

The Queensboro.... Not only do the have a downstairs event space that you could rent, but you could also host an event at the restaurant during the day or on a Monday (when they’re usually closed to the public). They’re always happy to work with people to host community events. Couldn’t hurt to bring your idea to them. And good luck!

& there is that real event space you can rent in Woodside, ARTEFIX.
A Bar that comes to mind is AMARU on Northern, very spacius, & very industrial looking.

It's not a restaurant, but I wonder if Topaz Arts in Woodside would be a possibility. http://www.topazarts.org/mission/ Doesn't hurt to ask. :)

Depending on what exactly you have in mind, Freddy at Terraza may be willing to book you, especially if it's a weeknight or Sunday afternoon.
