Mayor DeBlasio running for President

Well it’s official. Our mayor is running for POTUS. Should we start holding support events at Diversity Plaza?

only if you don't like him. after all, if he wins, he's not mayor anymore. how's that for a Catch 22?

Unsurprisingly the right wing hates him and throws all kinds of crap at him.

Some of this crap is deserved. Other stuff is the usual character assassination......

If you want an actual summary of what he's done (and not) as mayor read this

http://gothamist.com/2019/05/10/de_blasio_presidential_primer.php

This is a progressive rag, and they are....unimpressed ...at best

We've got real problems and real shit to fix in this city.

To quote the article "The mayor has a solid two and a half years left to lead New York City".

A zero-hope vanity/national-democrat-asskissing run for prez is an abdication of his responsibility, and that's what finally tips this into a big fat NOPE to deblasio for me....and as posters on this board know, I'm pretty f***ing left wing......

I agree.  With all the crap going on in this city that needs to be addressed, we can't afford to have a mayor who has completely checked out for the last years of his term.
