Very touching and instructive film! I loved seeing the streets of JH on camera. And shout out to Joey the mushroom man at the farmer's market for his split-second appearance.
AOC was so smart and killer hard-working to pull this off. Yes, she had help from some organizers from a national group, and from a very supportive family and boygriend: but the obstacles were formidable. Seeing the debate where Crowley sent his Latina stand-in was so interesting--and infuriating. The other women in the film suffered heart-breaking losses but were strong even in defeat.
A really worthwhile viewing experience.
