Homemade Sauces and Condiments
« on: March 08, 2019, 12:51:53 AM »
Hey guys,

Last year I got really into making homemade condiments in squeeze bottles to keep in my fridge. It started out as my own personal initiative to make leftovers more exciting but after bringing the bottles to work a few times I ended up getting everybody in my office hooked and have since had a steady business making extras and selling a few bottles a week to my colleagues. I thought JHL might be intetested in getting in on the action.

This week I plan on making the following:

- Chipotle and Roasted Garlic Mayo
- Mango Serrano Hot Sauce
- Roasted Red Pepper and Sundried Tomato Harisa
- Cilantro Crema
- Lemon Tahini Dressing
- Mole Poblano-style BBQ sauce

They are all multipurpose, come in 12oz squeeze bottles, and keep between 1 and 3 weeks depending on how much dairy there is. Just trying to see if there mignt be interest to buy on here in the near future.

I also occasionally sell pints of frozen meat sauce made using my grandmother's recipe which uses 4 types of ground meat.

JA, good on you!

Do you, or would you, make the white sauce that is used on falafel? or both?
