Feeling like Joe Biden is really the ticket here. He is a balm for most people in being reserved and thinking long term. The Tara Reade accusation is probably true as some kind of situation but I have doubts about the timing right now after he's been so public for so long and this seems meant to tip the scales. I still like Joe and think he's going to rally the troops. Trump's egoism has gotten to many of his supporters it seems. And giving Jared the car keys on so many issues has been profoundly stupid on his part with deadly consequences in the mismanagement of the PPE supply chain lately. Truly awful.
There isn't any entertainment value in this stupidity.

Of course people like trump, that’s why he was elected. And that’s why he will be elected again. And hopefully, Ivanka in 2024 to really “break the glass ceiling” keeping  the Trump dynasty alive.

Hmmm... Perhaps back to a Monarchy? Pre-1776? Should the experiment post-1776 be over?
Maybe we can ask the Queen of England to come back.

she'd only need 15 seconds to arm wrestle Trump into submission for the title :)

most mainstream outposts of the three Abrahamic religions have been more than willing to protect their adherents. the extremists have insisted on holding gatherings, and many of those gatherings have resulted in illness or death.

People in Jackson Heights are horrible at social distancing!! So many are non compliant with wearing a mask!!! Some of them do not get that it’s a mask, not a chin protector.
Even worse are those talking, smoking and eating without a mask!! Nice... spew your germs everywhere!!
I’ve also seen groups of 2 and 3 people socializing in the street!!

Don’t people get it!!! This is a fierce virus....social distancing has shown to be effective!!!

Churches, Mosques  and Synagogues , should not have been deemed non-essential, as we are finding out now. Totally unfair of the governors to open up liquor stores for alcoholics  and not churches. I’m happy that wrong got righted.

Indoor gatherings are exactly where the virus spreads. So yes, they should be deemed non-essential. People can worship online. That's what members of my family who are religious are doing. Liquor stores don't cause this type of spread because stores limit the number of shoppers and people are in and out.

Here's a report by the CDC from today https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/69/wr/mm6920e2.htm

Summary
What is already known about this topic?

Large gatherings pose a risk for SARS-CoV-2 transmission.

What is added by this report?

Among 92 attendees at a rural Arkansas church during March 6–11, 35 (38%) developed laboratory-confirmed COVID-19, and three persons died. Highest attack rates were in persons aged 19–64 years (59%) and ≥65 years (50%). An additional 26 cases linked to the church occurred in the community, including one death.

Guidelines have been released today for the safe opening of religious organizations. They should be followed like any other business. They don’t allow many people to a liquor store or supermarket, they will do the same with the church. It is the first amendment. And I wouldn’t take one church in Arkansas to be the end-all for everything. Churches and mosques and synagogues must be reopened. And they are being opened today. If Long Island can open the bars, restaurants, and beaches, surely they can open a church. Under the safety guidelines.

Hopefully the governors  will do the right thing, and the President will not have to fight for our first amendment rights

No..... the governors do NOT have the authority. The people have the authority.  This is not China or Hong Kong.   It's "We the People"  If your sick, stay home. If you go into an enclosed space, wear a mask. Waiting on line, stay six feet apart. If you can go to Home Depot, buy pot, or wait in line at some momo stand,  you can go to church.  NBS just  reported that a church resisting Corona virus restrictions was burnt down to the ground, while some idiot spray painted "Bet you stay home now you hypocrites"  In Mississippi, this church was  considered essential. They just had to abide by certain rules.   The fire is being considered as arson. Is this where we're  headed???!!!    Still,  a gym in Jersey tried to open.....using guidelines.   A message on the door from Camden County's Prosecutors Office stated  "YOU FACE UP TO SIX MONTHS IN JAIL IF YOU USE THIS GYM". Sounds like a police state.  We have constitutional  rights. The "so called" governors do not have the authority to take away those rights. We do however, have the right to vote  them out of office.

as any conservative will tell you, the "people" do not have the authority. any conservative will tell you this is a republic, not a "democracy." we do, however, have the right to vote out dangerous leaders, and we seem likely to do so in November.

You are funny. Ain’t gonna happen. But the Democrats sure do love them mail in ballots. As they were pleading guilty to mailing in many Illegal ballots.

Republic yes,  not totalitarian.  I hope you do not have an elderly parent sent to an extermination cam....I mean nursing home by Cuomo. About 30%of the deaths from this virus were those of the elderly sent to nursing homes. The Washington governor, with the same information as Cuomo got it right...….Baaaaaaa, Baaaaaa, Baaaaa… follow the sheep
