Of course, when you have nothing to hide you welcome transparency.

2/3 of the Senate must vote to impeach a president, right?

I'm not seeing the numbers stack up for an impeachment by the Senate.

And thus it came to pass...

The president, it appears, is clearly teflon coated....

[speaking to House Democrats] This is what happens when you allow blue checkmarks on Twitter to take over your partiy's politics... a complete disengagement from reality.

16,000 lies and counting -- and some still bow and scrape. in Iowa the other night, Dear Leader asked the minions to raise their hands and say "I pledge allegiance to Donald Trump." thousands of them did, sealing their fate forever.

Forever? No.

Eventually when it all crumples into a heap, as populist movements always do...those who pledged will pretend they didn't. The same happened with the followers of disgraced television evangelists in the past in the USA. After their downfall.

I believe Mr Trump has a lot in common with the television Evangelist phenomenon of the 1980s.
He demonizes the "other" (Democrats in this case) in a similar way they did.

but they (the televangelists) are all still around and still raking in millions from the rubes. Pat Robertson says that i, personally, am responsible for the coronavirus as well as all the hurricanes that have hit the U.S. in the past few years, and he gets applause (and white house invitations) for it. Jim Bakker is making millions selling doomsday rations to those who believe that Trump is a gift from God. they didn't collapse, they're doing fine.

I’m optimistic also, as long as Trump wins in 2020, and any Trump wins in 2024

maybe Fred Junior. he's due to come back from the dead to avenge his murder at the hands of his brother.

Maybe Tiffany Trump?   The black sheep Trump who is about to marry her Arabic- Nigerian-Lebanese boyfriend!

I believe a big reason the impeachment isn't happening is that, alas, no matter how often we are told not to think about it...the fact Biden's son was hired for many $$$'s by a dodgy Ukrainian company will always be fishy.  In everyone's mind. Almost equally as suspect as what Trump definitely did do...

Mr Trump has accomplished his mission to besmirch Biden's bid.

Or maybe the reason was because there was no crime committed?

But I was thinking more along the lines of Eric, Donald Junior or Ivanka. Any of them will have lots of experience over the next four years and run this country better than anybody I suspect
