The recently opened one around 83rd on 37th is quite good, and has room to walk around.

There are two practically facing on 82nd below the construction site, very popular and can be difficult to navigate. One is Mango Rico which moved - I battle my way through to buy dried apricots for 2.99 a pound. The opposite facing one often has good prices on blueberries.

Downtown Market has a pretty nice selection if you can afford "organic" prices.

Heartily second Kim's Brother, usually has the best price on grapes out front.

Supermarkets generally seem much more expensive.

Sorely miss Growing Farm!

Yes that's Fruitadona, my go-to. Room to browse, great selection and prices, friendly people. Yes, sometimes things are past their prime, but usually I'm very pleased with the fruits and vegetables they have on offer.

Super happy to hear this but wow..that dumpster needs to be switched out pronto! It has been overflowing for many days. Decaying fruit has fallen onto the street and is sitting on the storm drain since the weekend at least. And now switching it out has become more complicated since they are closing off 77th st from 7-8a to 7pm for construction on 35th ave.

Anyone know how to get some action on this? I peeked under the open gate over the weekend but saw no one inside.

I became so used to shopping elsewhere that I didn't notice they reopened until this past weekend. I'm so happy to see they are back!
