DiStefano returned years later and immersed himself in the borough’s rich culinary offerings, becoming a food blogger and tour guide.

I was fortunate enough to organize a bike tour, Eating along the 7 train with Joe. We started at John Browne Smokehouse and ended in Flushing with this lamb ribs cooked with cumin seed dish that is sooooo awesome. I didn't go to the book party last night, and I regret it. 3 restaurants supplied the food. Maybe we can get Joe to have a book signing at Lockwood? He's always in Elmhurst.
