Low-rise homes

This photo exhibit has some photos of low-rise homes in the area. One is in East Elmhurst, with others in Maspeth, Jamaica, Briarwood and Flushing.

The Architectural League is having a reception and discussion about this exhibit on November 9 at 6:30 and admission is free and open to the public.  Reservations can be done via eventbrite.

These are fascinating! These types of houses and the mish mash of them together are certainly something special about the landscape of Queens.
