ELMHURST — A man was beaten and robbed by three men inside a subway station bathroom this month, police said.

The victim was approached by the group inside the bathroom on the mezzanine level of the Roosevelt Avenue E and F train station at 7:15 p.m. on June 7.

They punched and kicked him inside the bathroom, taking his wallet, which had $50 in cash, a debit card and a MetroCard inside, police said.

The victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital for eye swelling, officials said.

They really need police present throughout this station, especially during the rush hours when there are so many people.

I would rather soil myself than enter a subway bathroom!

It has been months, perhaps years, since I saw a NYPD cop walking the streets of Jackson Heights.  Occasionally you used to even see cops on horseback.  Today? Never.  it's little wonder crimes like this happen when a cop never gets out of his/her car unless it's to put a ticket on a car window to saddle their butts into that ugly police tower that resembles a prison tower on 37th Avenue and 90th Street.
