Update - Arepa Lady has been approved for a liquor license.

The next hurdle:

The owners of Arepa Lady said they will ask their landlord for “more time,” at Roosevelt Avenue, as they need approval from the Landmarks Preservation Commission to do work at the future site, which is located in the Jackson Heights Historic District.
