Painting Appliances

Anyone else inherit appliances that they hate? I found this interesting:

You can change the color for a few $100s by hiring it out to an auto-body service that handles custom vinyl - the kind they use to put photos on cars and motorcycles.

Could be a fun way to change existing appliances that are difficult to swap out b/c they need to be a certain size.

Beautiful, and it can also be a much-cheaper DIY project using contact paper (not sure it would be a good idea for an oven due to the heat).

It doesn't look as good but it's cute for someone on a tight budget.
