1st Queens Bike FOOD Tour
« on: August 10, 2015, 10:57:15 PM »
Queens Bike Initiative is launching a series of bike tours in our area.
Once a month, from now to early winter, we'll visit parks and stop to taste some of the best food in Queens (meaning: in the world) along the way. The first ride will happen Aug. 29. We'll go to Astoria, Ditmars and East Elmhurst. It's free and everyone is welcome to join!

1st Queens Bike FOOD Tour

Join us in exploring some of Astoria's diverse and exciting food and drink destinations! We will meet at the NW corner of Travers Park at 10.30am. On this leisurely bike tour, we'll make a few stops at bakeries and cafes to pick up supplies for a break at Astoria Park. We'll bike and eat delicious food in Astoria, Ditmars and East Elmhurst, back in Jackson Heights at around 1pm.

While we're on it, please sign our petition for a bike lane grid connecting in Queens: http://www.qns.bike/petition

HELLO, EVERYONE!
A quick, but important note here: We are capping the first Queens Bike FOOD Tour at the 30 people who already said they will attend on facebook. We're doing this because we need to ensure that this will be a safe and fun ride for everyone.

We're SUPER HAPPY that so many people demonstrated interest! THANK YOU SO MUCH! If you'd like to participate but arrived here late, please leave a comment on Facebook and we will get in touch if someone cancels. First come, first serve base. https://www.facebook.com/events/868931326519300/868931333185966/

If you can't make it this time, don't be bummed. We will make other rides every first Saturday of the month: Oct. 3, Nov. 7, Dec. 5. (Then we will stop for a few months, because it hurts the hands when it gets too cold, and come back again in the spring.)

email qnsbike@gmail.com with the subject "register" so we can add you to our mailing list.
THANK YOU!!!
