Renovation help!
« on: June 10, 2015, 10:35:26 AM »
My husband and I recently moved to Jackson Heights and are looking to do some renovations. The apt is covered in wallpaper and needs some skim coating, new baseboards, crown molding, along with a bathroom and kitchen overhaul. It's in a co-op and will need to have a licensed contractor. Does anyone have a contactor they would recommend? Thank you!

Search for "contractor" or "GC" on this board. There have been at least 10 enquiries like this in the last year, all with answers.

That's a lot of work so you may consider submitting it at Smitten for a bid. They'll match you up with 3 bids from licensed contractors within your budget that have been vetted:

I'm not associated with them, just a follower of their blog. I love looking at before and after photos.

I did just do a full renovation on our new apartment in JH last year. You can check it out on my blog:

I'm happy to share my contractor's info if you are interested.
