Violet Needs a Home
« on: June 20, 2010, 03:42:42 PM »
I am posting this for a friend who found Violet abandoned and starving in Brooklyn on a very cold night last February.  She is a young female who has tested positive for the Feline Leukemia virus.  Research shows that a FeLV+ cat live a long and healthy life like any other cat but she should be a single cat or paired with another FeLV+ cat.

Violet has been fostered since she was found but, although her foster family love her and attest to her friendly and playful nature, they will be leaving the country soon and cannot take her.

She is a lovely, green-eyed, all gray cat who resembles the fancy Russian Blue breed ot cat.  If you P.M. me, I can forward the flyer that has more information and photos of Violet.  It has too many KB for posting to this site.

If you are interested or know someone who might be, they can find out more by calling Ann at (646) 541-4263 or emailing
