Guess what?  Weather forecasters are tracking yet another snowstorm.  This one is supposed to hit us starting tomorrow, Thursday, and work on through until Friday.  They're talking 6" to 12" again!

THIS IS THE NYC.gov NEWS YOU REQUESTED FOR: Emergency Tips, Updates, & Advisories

Another winter storm will reach New York City today and continue into tomorrow. Heaviest snowfall and highest winds are expected this afternoon. The National Weather Service predicts that up to 12 inches may accumulate by Friday evening in parts of New York City.
OEM encourages New Yorkers to use public transportation not only to reduce weather-related accidents but also to give plows time for snow removal.

Hey if he can take the subway and get to work so can the rest of us.... Isn't that his motto? To bad he forgets that plenty of teachers have to travel into NYC from L.I and Jersey and as a mom just because the roads are plowed that doesn't mean the sidewalks are clean... Just the walk home from school today was horrible the sidewalks are slushy and slippery and we are expecting the brunt of it tonight and throughout the day tomorrow... Oh well maybe I'm just ranting because I want to sleep in tomorrow haha...

Nah the real funny was the lst time, teh second day of tehs torm, he had three announecment on 311.com:

Parking regulations suspended.
Trash pickup cancelled.
Schools open.

Basically, as long as your car and trash are safe, your teachers don't need to be.  :)

This storm seems quite a bit worse than the last one.

See if this has been a colder weekend, the monsoon that began yesterday would have been a great snowstorm.

Sorry Madalyn, I think spring sprung it!

As I was walking around in the deluge yesterday, I was imagining how much snow it would have been if it had been cold enough - probably around 4 feet!

I'm ready for some sun and warm weather now though.

On NY1 this weekend they said if it had been snow, the total would have been somewhere around 2.5 feet.

Wow!  I would have LOVED that if it had been about a month ago.
