I love that penguin.  Who dresses him up - random people or a specific group?  I kind of want to dress him up like cupid for Valentine's Day.

Over the weekend I noticed some kind of dummy/mannequin type figure sitting out in front of Wink, with a cardboard sign. Does anyone know what that was about? I didn't check it because it was dark and raining.

Thanks Jeff! I can't access FB at work so I checked it out at home. So, my limited Spanish tells me its something about how great Colombia is?  I wonder if other dummies/signs will pop up extolling the joys of other countries... it can be a like dummy UN! ;)

Very cool story.  So glad the penguin has a  FB page.

Maybe Wink can be dressed in scuba gear and craft beer bottle for when swim two birds finally gets its liquor license.

Wink was one of the Jackson Heights Beautification Groups winners for the Good Neighbor Awards. Nice to see who is actually
behind this beloved costume show. Hope it continues for many years to come.
