Just type in your adress and you will see the offices to vote for. Expand the office and you will see the names of the candidates

Thank you! This is just what I was looking for. Super helpful to make sure there are no surprises on Election Day. With all of these very small but critical races, want to be sure I can read up in advance.

A Facebook comment:

"Paola Angel Mendoza - As I wrote before, Liliana Melo is Uribe follow and supporter, she said NO to peace agreement in Colombia, that means she is war supporter. For all who don’t know Uribe is a paramilitares creator. Why does she want to run as democrat here in New York if she support the republicans and fundamentalists in Colombia?"

VOTE FOR MAUREEN ALLEN!!!

Hiram Monserrate, an ex-politician in Queens, was convicted of assault for slashing his girlfriend's face. He also served 2 years in prison for felony fraud. He'll do anything to get back into power.

He plans to build a cadre of cronies inside the Democratic party by running a slate of candidates in obscure races in the upcoming primary.

Queens friends: PLEASE check the guide below, and help deny Monserrate his a comeback. Print a copy to bring to the polls on THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 13th.

Share to spread the word!

Just to clarify, are all the names on this flyer associated with Monserrate? So you're saying to vote against all of these people?

I have a very sad and scary story to tell. While out canvasing for another candidate in Corona, I knocked on a man's door who told me he had already voted. Some people had come to his house a few days ago with a ballot. He told me (of his own volition) that he checked off Cuomo, Peralta, and Monserrate. Then, they folded the ballot and put it in an envelope. I guess that it will be submitted as an absentee.

I was totally nauseated. This is MAJORLY ILLEGAL. It's very surreal to be bluntly confronted with the sleaze of politics in NY when you are (naively) thinking of doing good and participating in democracy. These men are MUST BE STOPPED....

For those who were hungry for a bit more outside confirmation:

Isabel Encalada has a Facebook post from last year in which she is apparently supporting Monserrate. I don't speak Spanish, so I can't understand what she is saying about him, but she's wearing a shirt with his name on it.

I did not find any direct evidence of William Marquez supporting Monserrate. However, stitching together info from Facebook and articles translated from Queens Latino, it seems as though he has been involved with community events organized by Eduardo Giraldo, who supported Monserrate in 2016.

I don't know about Liliana Melo beyond what's here, including that another member of this forum (Gordan) said she would not answer when asked about Monserrate:

I didn't find much information at all about Luis Gomez.

One of the minions had a truck with political posters all over it across the street from a polling place. The BOE Coordinator spoke to the police officer who went outside immediately. The truck was in violation of the proper distance. So, posters was removed.

Keep your eyes out.

Unfortunately, the Monserrate slate won about half of their races.

In AD34, Melo, Gomez, and Encalda won, Marquez lost.
In AD35, Monserrate, Harvey, and Aiken won; Suero and Morgan lost.
In AD39, Ramirez won, Enriquez-Luciano lost.

I'm not sure if these positions mean anything, but this is worrisome for those who hope to see a more progressive party emerge from the ashes of the Queens machine.
