Title: What is your building doing to become more environmentally sustainable?

I'd love to hear what buildings in the neighborhood are doing, things both small and big.

Thank you in advance.

Sadly our building is now awful in this regard. New shareholders want things to appear a certain way
and sustainability is a lower priority than appearances.

Composting.  Required recycling.  LED lights.

Does anyone have any ideas?

NOTHING!  If you make changes and then have the mandatory inspection you run the risk of fines in the future because you have no improvements available. Inspection first, then upgrades. That being said there is rebate money for LED conversions out there.

I'm hoping my building puts in solar panels on the roof instead of a roofdeck. The building on 76th before norther blvd has them.
