cops on 74th and 37th ave today

anyone know what happened today by 74th street and 37th ave? cops / ems blocked the whole street off.

A lady barricaded herself in an apartment on the first floor on 74th Street. The police had all assets available and they were able to settle the situation peacefully.

When I walked by on my way to the subway, two uniformed officers were trying to peer into one of the first floor windows of an apartment in that building on the corner and then an ambulance pulled up. I think it was the same apartment where there is always a strong smell of pot when I walk by (or maybe the one next to it).
