I am unclear why you would loop rubber bands around your ears for a bandana styled mask when you can tie a bandana around your head like a bank robber. Tied that way, a bandana goes pretty low. And while it doesn't create a "seal" around the neck, since the idea is to protect others from your coughs/sneezes/breath, I'm just not sure what the point of this method is.
